Mount Sinai’s Strategic Plan calls for a total investment of $2.25 billion. Over the next decade, earned income will account for more than half of this amount. The remaining $1 billion must come from private philanthropy.

The Campaign for Mount Sinai will raise critical resources in the following areas:

  • Pioneer new advances in healthcare and healing by creating patient-centered facilities and programs
                                                                    $200 million
  • Prepare tomorrow’s medical leaders by increasing scholarship support to attract the best and most diverse students and by implementing curricular      $100 million
  • Propel discovery through research by attracting world-class scientists to lead 14 new multidisciplinary institutes                                                  $300 million
  • Promote collaboration among clinician-scientists through the construction of two new state-of-the-art facilities — the Center for Advanced Medicine and the Center for Science and Medicine — and provide critical technological infrastructure and resources                       $400 million

                                                                Total $1 billion

“Transforming medicine is within our grasp. The Campaign for Mount Sinai provides far-sighted individuals the opportunity, through their philanthropy, to have an impact in an especially tangible and meaningful way.”
