Citadel, a global financial firm, is a leading sponsor for the Kravis Children’s Hospital 28th Annual Big Apple Circus Benefit. The event will take place on November 9, 2014 at Lincoln Center.

In advance of the Benefit, 23 Citadel employees from the New York office donated their time to stuff 900 backpacks full of goodies. These kid-friendly backpacks, distributed to all children who attend the event, are full of donated items including children’s books, DVDs, playing cards, and healthy snacks. Citadel Employees were able to stuff all of the gift bags in a record amount of time, turning an arduous task into a night of fun for a good cause.

Proceeds from the Big Apple Circus benefit the Mount Sinai Children’s Center Foundation, which supports vital services involving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of childhood diseases at the Kravis Children’s Hospital.
