Hideki Kinoshita’s Fundraising Page in Support of Mount Sinai’s World Trade Center Health Program

On the 10th Anniversary of the September 11 tragedy, I set up a fundraiser to support The Mount Sinai Health System's World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program. I am extremely passionate about fundraising for this program because it directly helps those brave men and women who unselfishly came to the rescue in the wake of 9/11 and have since developed serious health issues as a result of being exposed to toxins and carcinogens while working at Ground Zero.
My mission is to raise over $20,000 to help the World Trade Center Health Program by starting a new initiative to give back to charities while encouraging fellow runner friends to take up the banner of charity running. Over a series of marathons and ultramarathons, I will be inviting fellow runners to partner up with me in raising awareness and funding for Mount Sinai’s WTC Health Program.
During this arduous endeavor, I need your support to help me reach my fundraising goal. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure, and your donation goes directly to Mount Sinai’s WTC Health Program. Many thanks for your support and please don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too.

Since 9/11, many responders have developed long-term, life-threatening diseases that are directly attributable to their experiences at the WTC site. This medical burden has caused countless numbers of responders to lose their ability to work and has led many of these heroes to lose their primary source of income, as well as their health insurance. Mount Sinai seeks to bridge this gap and continue to ensure that those first responders are able to receive treatment for the medical and psychosocial illnesses that they now face.
